#CONNIEAOOTD : back to black

So this post is going to start off an attempt to blog outfit photos. Not sure how i'll go since my tripod is at its last straws and I have noone to shoot me but oh well. We shall try? Hopefully I shall succeed.



DETAILS #001 :

I wore this outfit on Monday when I went out with Kelly to the CBD where we basically spent the day talking and walking and eating. Legit. I had worn some old random shirt underneath and so by 1pm I was boiling yet I couldnt really take off my jumper so I sweated my backside off in them. Anyways, the shoes I'm wearing here are the shoes that started off my love for black boots, laces and studs on shoes ever since I got them about 6 months ago. I've worn them every single day I haven't had school ( not even kidding, I think I've only not worn them three times ) and I even wore them through summer. However, I decided to start wearing these to work, possibly the worst decision I've ever made since these now have considerable holes in both the bottoms and the heels ( and I found out by running around the city trying to find my wallet in the rain : greatest method ) and I've had to give them up. I went out today to buy a new pair of black boots and I was seriously reconsidering buying these again cos I love them so much. Like I'm mourning over their death. But yeah, first outfit posted...not sure how I'm going but oh well.

Last Saturday (06/03/13), Teresa, Bonnie and I went to watch The xx in concert at the Hordern Pavillion so we met up just past 4 in the CBD and got a early dinner of Nandos before going to the concert. We had one of the best spots in the house amongst some issues but it was honestly one of the best nights ever and I was on a high for about three days later ( I still am ). I don't really have much to recount but here are the photos ( after the jump because I took too damn many )

I think, after seeing this haul, I've actually realized how much I spend and how unhealthy it is to my bank account. However, I did actually purchase the UO pieces in January but it's been a long time coming and various weeks and waits and swaps later. I got all the items on sale though ( excluding the face wash) and I'm overall really pleased with them. I actually got the two blazers together on the same day and I was deciding whether or not to get one or the other when my mother just gave up and told me to get both. They're different however and one is definitely warmer than the other and both have different styles. I also purchased a few mugs this month and some dresses which I'll keep for formal occasions or whatnot but I truly am so in love with these pieces. However, the holidays are coming up soon and that means more time to chill, shop and work so hopefully this blog is going to be a lot more filled up in the coming weeks. I'm currently deciding which background I like better and I think I'll be actually keeping with the floral print.
